Since 1971, Hopelink has served homeless and low-income families, children, seniors and people with disabilities in the north and east King County, WA. With service centers in Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland, Shoreline and Sno-Valley (Carnation), we are the largest nonprofit organization in the area. Hopelink programs and services focus on five key areas: food, financial assistance, housing & family development, adult education & employment and transportation/mobility. Programs are aimed at helping people achieve stability, and helping them gain the skills and knowledge they need to exit poverty for good.

Hopelink has immediate openings for DART Community and Shuttle drivers throughout King County at our Kent and Kirkland, WA location. This position will operate days, evenings and weekends on a fixed route with a flexible service area.

Get paid while you train for a new career in driving!

As a subcontractor working with King County Metro, Hopelink will pay your wages and training onsite in preparation for your CDL Class C with passenger endorsement license. Applicants with CDL A/B/C passenger endorsements are encouraged to apply!

To be eligible, you must be...

  • Be at least 21 years old at the time you apply and able to lift and pull up to 40 pounds
  • Hold a valid Washington driver’s license, and have the ability to obtain a CDL Learner’s Permit with Passenger Endorsement
  • Have a minimum of two years of experience providing customer service to the general public
  • Have an acceptable driving record at the time of offer
  • Any of the following violations within the last five years will automatically disqualify you from consideration:
  • Reckless or negligent driving
  • DWI/DUI (driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs)
  • Hit-and-run incident
  • Vehicular homicide or vehicular assault
  • Open container citation
  • More than one “at fault” accident within the past year
  • Suspended license for moving violations
  • Reliable transportation to report on-time to work
  • Be able to speak and write in English
  • Verifiable acceptable work history and employment references

Summary: Summary:
This position provides direct services to low-income individuals receiving public housing and/or a Section-8 housing subsidy by helping job seekers identify, work toward, and reach their employment goals. Services include individualized coaching, advanced job search strategies, career pathing, resume guidance, interviewing practice, and non-technical skills development. This position conducts community outreach and direct services at public housing sites in addition to Hopelink locations in north and east King County, working collaboratively with employees across the partnership to ensure effective support for their clients. This is not a Human Resources position. The positions requiring annual funding renewal for up to five years; contract renewals done yearly.

ERS staff are responsible for entering data accurately and efficiently into our Client Track database. They provide excellent customer service to all who walk through the door and respond promptly to phone and e-mail inquiries. This position is fast-paced and requires the ability to multi-task, stay calm under pressure, and deescalate issues when necessary. ERS must be comfortable working with families and individuals that may be in crisis, suffer from mental illness, and/or are experiencing homelessness.

Summary: The Customer Service Representative works closely with clients over the telephone in a nonprofit call center environment to determine eligibility for transportation and other services. Join a team of co-workers passionate about Hopelink’s vision to end poverty and promote self-sufficiency for all members of our community.
The Customer Service Representative accurately configures account information in the database, and develops an appropriate solution with the client to meet to their needs. Serves as first level of client complaint resolution.

Summary: Hopelink’s Mobility Management team empowers people to change their lives by facilitating access to the community. We do this by (1) supporting the coordination of special needs transportation through cross-sector collaborations to improve transportation services and (2) providing travel education and resources to build awareness of existing transportation options. We work to make it easier for all people to get around King County through innovative, entrepreneurial, collaborative problem solving.

The position provides staff support to key mobility management projects and initiatives and mobility coalitions as well as assists in the education and outreach of transportation resources. The Mobility Coordinator advocates for those who need transportation, facilitates discussion, teaches, connects and partners with organizations to champion transportation solutions. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, self motivated, and posses an enterprising spirit and passion for making an impact in the local community.

Summary: The Seattle Off-Site Hospital Transportation Coordinator (OTC) works with Seattle’s largest hospitals onsite. The OTC manages reservations and screening online and over the phone and has direct interaction with Hopelink’s subcontracted service providers. The OTC will work directly with the public and will be stationed primarily at facilities contracting with Hopelink for on-site services. The OTC position will also rotate through the Bellevue Transportation office.
Candidates with experience in medical offices, hospitals, patient intake, healthcare insurance or patient care are encouraged to apply!

Summary: Under the direction of the Operations Manager in the Transportation Brokerage, the Customer Service Center Supervisor will be responsible for the hiring, scheduling, and supervision of Customer Service Representatives. The Customer Service Supervisor team is responsible for assuring the Customer Service Center (call center) meets contractual requirements under Hopelink’s contract with the Health Care Authority (HCA) for Medicaid transportation. The Customer Service Supervisor is a critical role; providing independent problem solving and a sense of ownership for the success of the team and success of the call center. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, supervisory experience, and an accountability mindset towards inspiring staff and achieving team goals.

The Stability Resource Specialist (SRS) engages with a wide diversity of clients one-on-one to discuss emergent needs and partner with clients to work toward stability. The SRS assesses client eligibility for a variety of resources and services; prepares applications for financial assistance; and provides short-term navigation, support, and advocacy as requested. This position requires both office skills such as attention to detail, organization, precision) and interpersonal skills such as compassion, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in tense or difficult situations. The SRS must be comfortable working with families/individuals experiencing active trauma, including, but not limited to, unemployment, mental illness, domestic violence, and homelessness.

Summary:
This position is the primary representative of the Client Data department to the user community and must provide excellent customer service to all internal customers.
Working under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Client Data, the IT Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the Client Data department and the Community Services client system user community. This includes front-end support of users, QA, data entry, development of training materials, conducting training, and working on special projects such as migrating system to the new Microsoft platform. Utilizing the latest Microsoft Office365, Dynamics365 the Power platform (PowerApp, PowerBI, etc.).
